Photojournalism Critique #2

PHOTJOURNALISM CRITIQUE #2

For this critique I chose to look at pictures showing different cultures.

I found a picture of a young chinese women who was doing Dong Weaving.
The picture is very bright, her face is hidden slightly by her hair. Other then that
I really like the picture because it shows what she is doing and draws attention due to colors.

The second photo that I really liked was picture of an Ireland Parade. It showed that obviously
it was a parade of some kind, and you can tell where they are because they have kilts and bagpipes.
It's a candid photo, which i like. It focuses mainly on the guy in front but your eyes get draw down the line of men.

Oregon State Football lost against Arizona at home on the 26th of September,
then last Saturday the 3rd they beat Arizona State in a close game.
This Saturday is a home game against Standford,

Photojournalism critique #1

PHOTO CRITIQUE
Photo critique #1

I found a photo named "pursuit of happiness" on Flickr.com that really attracted my attention.
The photo shows a little girl who is completely content with chasing bubbles.
This picture draws my attention because the green is so vivid, and the little girl is off-centered.
The bubbles are very clear and stand out.
The scene around the girl gives off the ambiance of a Utopia.

Jonspotphotography.com is the original location of this picture,
he uses Flickr to share his photographs.

First Blog Post

FIRST BLOG POST

I am taking Photojournalism in order to better my understanding of taking photographs of people. I am planning on graduating with a minor in photography and hopefully one day owning my own photography studio specializing in weddings, parties, children, animals and sports.
